Testimonials

"Brad has made Jiu-Jitsu fun for me again, and I look forward to each class knowing I'm going to walk away a little better than I was the day before"

tom"I started taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in June of 2001 at a different school, and after a few months the program started to get boring. A friend of mine was training at another school, and then I signed up and started training there. Again after a few months it started to become less interesting as time went on. After about a year, I moved and went back to school and didn't do any formal training for about 2 years. Another friend of mine knew Brad and said he was a great instructor, and that I should go check him out. I did and there's no turning back.

Brad has made Jiu-Jitsu fun for me again, and I look forward to each class knowing I'm going to walk away a little better than I was the day before. Also, when I started training with Brad I weighted about 210 pounds, and have lost about 25. I didn't start taking Jiu-Jitsu to lose the weight, it's just a result of the great training we have at Paramount BJJ."

"Since adding BJJ to my training I have increased my stamina, gained self-confidence, sleep better, and have found a camaraderie that I've not found with any other sport."

paige "After only training with weights for years, a friend of mine suggested that I try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for something different and fun. I tried an introductory class and was immediately hooked! I am now in my 9th month of training and I continue to be challenged both physically and mentally with each class. As a 5'4" and 105 lbs female I am often the smallest person in class, but I never feel isolated.

My teammates treat me as an equal, and work with me to improve my skill. Since adding BJJ to my training I have increased my stamina, gained self confidence, sleep better, and have found a camaraderie that I've not found with any other sport. I can't imagine not training!"

"Since I started training at Paramount BJJ, I've lost about 35 pounds..."

ericI had always heard great things about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, including that it is arguably the most effective martial art out there, and that it's a great challenge and a lot of fun. When I went to my first class at Paramount BJJ, I didn't know what to expect. However, I was thrilled to find a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I also quickly found that everything I had heard about BJJ was true. It's a great workout and a lot of fun, and I'm learning skills that will be invaluable to me in a real life situation. Since I started training at Paramount BJJ, I've lost about 35 pounds, and still going. I've become a more well-rounded athlete, and I've gained a lot of self-confidence in the process. All of this while meeting new people and great instruction. It's an experience unlike any other.

"Training BJJ at Paramount is a great alternative to conventional exercise programs."

I had wanted to learn some type of martial art for awhile, and after some prompting from a friend I decided to try Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Before I had finished my introductory class I was hooked. Brad is an amazing instructor who makes learning BJJ simple and enjoyable. I have never been one who enjoys going to the gym or working out, but training BJJ at Paramount is a great alternative to conventional exercise programs. Everyone in class pushes each other to work hard and are constantly offering suggestions to improve technique and conditioning. When class begins I don't want it to end, but when it does I am already looking forward to the next one.

"It is very hard for me to try to sum up Brad's instruction in just one paragraph. I don't think I can do him justice. You simply have to take my word for it and try Paramount out for yourself! I have seen many instructors teach over the years.

"Brad Court is one of the most technical Jiu-Jitsu practitioners I've trained with."

Brad Court is one of the most technical Jiu-Jitsu practitioners I've trained with. I have the pleasure of training with him at least once a week and he always keeps me on my toes. I've witnessed him overcome bigger and stronger opponents with mere technique and skill. Anybody who has the chance to roll with or take a class with Brad it would improve their game immensely.

"I first noticed Brad Court at a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition many years ago. I watched the apparent ease with which he destroyed everyone in his division, including several very technical grapplers I looked up to. Ever since then, I have been a fan of Brad's methodical competition game.

As a small female (5’2” and 114 lbs), I can’t stress enough the benefits of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for self defense. The confidence and awareness you gain from BJJ can’t be found anywhere else. And don’t get me started on the health benefits! When friends and family comment on my muscle tone and ask me how often I go to the gym and work out, my response is…NEVER!
